GEORGE GATES Peacefully, on Sunday, August 14, 2011, George Gates passed away with his family by his side. George was predeceased by his parents Silvester-Jack and Olga. He will be lovingly remembered by his beloved wife Anne, sons Darrin (Darlene), Darrell (Dawn), and special grandchildren Jenna, David and Jordan, sister Helen (Glenn) Brown, and nephew Bruce (Bev) Brown. A celebration of George's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 19, 2011 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Interment will follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. A special thank you to George's dedicated wife Anne for being there every day. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of George to the charity of one's choice.
