FLORENCE RUTH GRANKE 1929 - 2011 Florence Granke passed away peacefully after a short battle with cancer on Monday, August 15, 2011 at the Concordia Hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Florence was predeceased by her parents Mary and Edward Granke. She is survived by her brother Harold and wife Patricia; nephew Robert and his wife Lynn, their children Jonathon, Sarah, Brett; nephew Gary and his wife Naomi, their children Carl and Reid; and niece Elaine and her husband Bruce and their children Jamie and Daniel Morrison and daughter Marley; Sarah; Heidi and Lucas their children Noah and Grady; and Leif. Aunty had a special place in her heart for all her family. Florence retired from the University of Manitoba in 1985 as a typesetter. Aunty was a faithful member of Grace Lutheran Church. Her Christian faith was important to her through her entire life. Special thanks to Dr. Kuegle and all the Health Care Aides, Nurses and Palliative Care Team who took extra special care of our Aunty at Concordia Hospital 3 East. Funeral service will be held on Friday, August 19, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, 211 Kimberly Ave., Winnipeg, Manitoba.
