LORI REMPEL With heavy hearts, Lori's family announces her sudden and unexpected passing on Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at the Ste. Rose du Lac Hospital. Lori was 51 years of age and resided in Ashern, MB. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 19, 2011 at the Ashern Legion Hall with Pastor Bill Watson officiating. Service will conclude at the hall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of Canada, Manitoba Chapter, PO Box 20009, 3310 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3K 2E5. I am so sorry to hear this. I knew Laurie only on the internet through genealogy, but she appeared to be very enthusiastic about life - and her life in particular.
