BARBARA ANNE TULLOCH (nee EWART) With heavy hearts, our family announce the passing of Barb Tulloch, due to complications of Parkinson's' Disease, on Tuesday August 2, 2011 at the Tuxedo Villa Extendicare. Her husband John R. Tulloch and her son Brian John Tulloch and her sister Jean Withrow predeceased her. Barbara was born October 8, 1927 in Winnipeg and grew up in the Cresentwood area of Winnipeg. Barbara worked for CBC prior to her marriage to Jack in 1953. Jack and Barbara were married for 56 years until his passing in January 2010. Barbara was a loving mother to Brian, Heather and Bonnie. After raising her children she pursued a degree in social work and graduated from the University of Manitoba in 1984. Barbara spent many happy summers at the family cottage in Whytewold with her children and grandchildren. The family wishes to thank friends and neighbors for their many acts of kindness to Barbara during her declining health and, a special thank you to the Woman's Group. Thanks also to the staff of Tuxedo Villa Extendicare for providing such comfort and compassion during Barbara's final days. We also greatly appreciate the devotion of care worker Delore Natividad to mom over the last year. Cremation has taken place.
