RON ROMANCHUK October 3, 1945 August 12, 2011 It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of brother, Ron, at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg, at the age of 65. Ron was predeceased by his parents Nicholas and Ada; brother Jim and sister Helen Slater. He is survived by daughters Angela and Karen (Tony); brothers and sisters Ed (Edith), France Borody (late Alex), Jean Shewcuk (Leo), Bill (Linda), Raymond (Olga), Vivian Chrapchynski (Ed), Mae Murphy, Charles (Marielle) and Lucy Medwid (Richard). Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Ron was born in Teulon, Manitoba, lived and worked in Regina, SK, Russell, MB and made a home in Winnipeg for the last 20 years. The family would like to express our deep appreciation to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Health Sciences Centre. Cremation has taken place at Gilbart's Funeral Home in Selkirk, MB. A memorial service will held at a future date. Donations may be made in Ron's name to the Salvation Army, Christmas Cheer Board or Winnipeg Harvest.
