After retirement he also volunteered for the Steinbach R.C.M.P. detachment, something he really enjoyed doing. Jac's biggest legacy was his unfailing support and care for his family. Jac and Connie married on July 29, 1954, and enjoyed many happy years together. I send this tribute on behalf of my father, Ben Martens, who passed away Aug, 4, 2008. He truly enjoyed working with and for Jake for many years at J.R. Friesen. My father always spoke very highly of Jake for his integrity and honesty and for caring about his co-workers and friends. Both our families were blessed with great Fathers – Now Rest In Heaven Together - Jake Ketler & Ben Martens. - Posted by: Ron Martens (Co-Worker) on: Aug 23, 2011
