BETTY PHYLIS NORMAN October 11, 1930 - August 14, 2011 Our Mom passed away peacefully at St. Boniface Hospital, Winnipeg. She is predeceased by her parents, Nellie and Henry Bucholz, her brother, Ray Bucholz, and our father, Alvin Norman. She spent her life touching our hearts with her love and humour. She leaves us, her daughters, Kathy and Debbie, only after she was certain we would be OK. She leaves her niece, Norma (Wally) and family, her nephew, Don (Grace) and family, our Aunt Agnes MacHattie, and many cousins. She will be missed by her lifelong friends Jean Mazur, Dolores Kirkwood, and Bev Grimmer; her many friends including Colin, Sharon and Dave, Nancy and Rick, Alison, Fatma and Ali, Pat Bullis, Fern Morris, Karin and Marcel; and many friends and neighbours who supported her and us across the years and shared with us many holidays, adventures and dinners. In September, we will be taking our Mom home to New Westminster, BC to be interred with her parents, and where we will have a graveside service. On September 11th there will be a memorial service in Winnipeg, and the service in New Westminster will take place on September 15th. Please contact the family for details. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice. This is not Goodbye. You will be in our hearts forever as we are in yours. We love you.
