Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHELENA PILARSKI (nee ADAMKOWICZ) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Helena Pilarski on Saturday, August 13, 2011, at the age of 90. Helena was born in Vilnius, Lithuania on October 1, 1920, and came to Canada in 1949. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank; daughters, Donna and Irene; along with her parents, Adam and Stanislawa. Helena is survived by her loving daughter, Lucy; grandchildren, Tony, Stephen, Angelica (Michael), Camelia (John), Mark and Nealian (Jackie); in addition to numerous great-grandchildren. She will also be dearly missed by her brother, Albert (Helen); sisters, Wanda, Stasia and Regina; as well as many more family and friends. Rosary/Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 24 at 9:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Avenue, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Ghost Cemetery. Szkoda że nie było nam dane spotkać się. O wyjeździe Św. Pamięci Pani Pilarskiej do Kanady słyszałem od Mojej mamy. Brat Pani Heleny Albert został nawet ojcem chrzestnym mojej siostry Zofi w 1959 roku. I jakoś od tamtego czasu kontakty między nimi się przerwały. Siostrę Pani Heleny i Alberta Stanisławę odwiedzaliśmy w Vilnie. Na ten nekrolog trafiłem przez przypadek przeglądając internet.
