JEAN NOVAK August 29, 1921 - August 10, 2011 Peacefully after a lengthy illness, our beloved Aunt Jean passed away at River East Personal Care Home on August 10, 2011. Aunt Jean was born August 29, 1921 in Transcona. She was predeceased by her parents William and Anna Novak, brothers Walter and Malcolm, sisters Millie Bazel and Teenie Pyra and niece Margaret Bazel. Aunt Jean will be lovingly remembered by sister-in-law Bertha Novak, nephews Robert Novak (Joann), Bill Novak (Mark), Gerald Novak (Carol), Bernard Pyra (Mary Kay), Ken Pyra (Cathy), Rick Pyra (Leah), nieces Melanie Berger, Anne Cunningham, Waltra Gilbert (John). Aunt Jean worked for F.W. Woolworth Company, Singer Sewing Machine Company, and the Manitoba Government retiring in 1986. The family extend their sincere gratitude for the kindness and care given to Aunt Jean by the staff of Serenity Cove, and River East Personal Care Home. In keeping with Aunt Jean's wishes, cremation has taken place and a service will be held August 25, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Wheeler Funeral Chapel, 211 Regent Ave. West with Rt. Rev. Msgr.
