Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPEARL MARTHA WALL (nee MEARON) 1915 - 2011 It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Pearl Martha Wall at the Grace Hospital on Sunday, August 14, 2011 at the age of 95 years. Pearl was predeceased by her devoted husband, Horace Curly Wall, brother Lloyd Bud Mearon, brothers-in-law Jack and Norman Wall and Jim Lough, sisters-in-law Winnie Elrick and May Mearon. She will be sadly missed by brother Victor Mearon; sisters-in-law Margaret Lough and Helen Wall, and many nieces and nephews. She was a loving and tireless mother to daughter Louise Pickering (Don) and son Ron, and an energetic and adoring Nana to grandson Andrew. Pearl was born in Winnipeg on September 2, 1915 to Moses and Florence Mearon. She graduated from Daniel McIntyre Collegiate and worked at several jobs the last one being with the Post Office. She married her late husband Curly Wall on February 14, 1942 and settled in Winnipeg. It is said, once in a while, someone comes along whose beautiful spirit and caring heart make a lasting difference to the lives of others, that was Pearl. She possessed an easy, engaging and outgoing personality that captured the hearts of all those she touched. She was generous and kind and laughed easily and often. She loved her winters spent in Hawaii and enjoyed their cottage at Sandy Hook in the summers. Our family wishes to graciously thank the devoted staff of the Grace Hospital and the homecare girls at the Westhaven and special friend, Mary-Louise Moran, for their remarkable care and kindness. A funeral service to honor Pearl's life will be held at Neil Bardal Funeral Centre, 3030 Notre Dame Avenue (across from Brookside Cemetery), on Monday, August 22, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. with a viewing from 1:00-1:45 p.m. Interment will follow at Brookside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to the Salvation Army, 203-290 Vaughan Street, Winnipeg, MB R3B 2N8. NEIL BARDAL FUNERAL CENTRE (204) 949-2200 nbardal.mb.ca
