LESLIE LYNN MCDONALD
Date of Passing: Aug 17, 2011
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLESLIE LYNN MCDONALD Peacefully, in her sleep on August 17, 2011, at the age of 53, our dear daughter, sister, aunty, niece, cousin and friend, Leslie McDonald went to be with the Lord. Leslie is survived by her mom Patricia McDonald, two brothers David and Rob (Lianne) and sister Terri (Steve). She is also survived by uncles Gerry, John and Tony, nieces and nephews, Lauren, Jordan, Carly, Joe and Alyssa, as well as numerous cousins. She was predeceased by her dad David McDonald in 2008 and her special friend Linda in 2009. Leslie has been a huge blessing in our lives; one in a million. She helped so many people throughout her journey on this earth. She had grace and dignity to be admired. Leslie had a gift of making others laugh. Her humour was barbed and her wit was sharp. We have had many years of laughter together and that is something we will all cherish. Leslie worked 30 years at MPI and was two years shy of her retirement. Her favourite pastimes were going to Spruce Sands, entertaining friends and family and serving others- that was what she loved the most. A very heartfelt thank you and blessing to her best friend Olga who helped care for Leslie. A celebration of Leslie's life will be held Thursday, August 25 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler at Henderson Hwy. At her request, we ask only close friends and family to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Leslie's memory to the Manitoba Lung Association. Until we meet againxo
