GARRY WEINTZ It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Garry Weintz, aged 58, on August 16, 2011. He was born and raised in Winnipeg, and was the only son of Janet and Alfred Weintz. Garry was incredibly close to his sister Luanne throughout both of their lives. Growing up, Garry enjoyed summers at Camp Neustadt and was an avid bowler at Chateau Lanes all of his life. He won several trophies and participated in many leagues and tournaments. Garry was employed at Salisbury House for many years and leaves behind many friends and co-workers to mourn his passing. Garry was predeceased by his loving parents, Janet and Alfred, as well as his sister Luanne Bell. Garry is survived by his niece and nephew, Janalee and Jason, along with their families who he enjoyed spending time with. A memorial service in celebration of Garry's life will be held on Monday, August 22, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler at Henderson Hwy. Donations in Garry's memory can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba.
