PATRICIA CLARE DAVIES (Granny) On August 19, 2011, our beautiful Mother, Granny, Sister, and Friend, passed away peacefully at the age of 77. She was predeceased by her loving husband David, her mother Becky, and father Harold Mom will be dearly missed by her children and their families: Lorne (Jill), Kim (Brian), Donna Lee (Kelly) and her brother Richard Gandy. She was immensely proud of her grandchildren who brought her so much joy, Jonathan (Michelle), Justin, Jason, Jared, Joshua, Jolene, Kamryn and Kyan. Mom and Dad enjoyed many years at our cottage in Sandy Hook, spending time with family and friends. Her most recent passion was attending the Goldeyes games with her longtime friend Marilyn and her husband Bruce. Mom spent many hours tending to her garden and enjoyed spending time with her friends and neighbours at her Carriage Road home, or more likely at Timmy's after line dancing! Special thanks to the nurses at The Grace Hospital, 3 North and especially Gurmeet for her kindness and compassion. In keeping with Mom's wishes there will be a private family interment followed by a Memorial Service for friends and family on Wednesday, August 24 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue at 7:00 pm. Flowers gratefully declined. Donations in Mom's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or the charity of your choice. Rest well Mom, be with Dad and know you are dearly loved.
