MYRTLE GERTRUDE ANDERSON (nee LETANDRE) June 26, 1940 August 20, 2011 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother Big Kookoo , sister and aunt, Myrtle Gertrude Anderson (nee Letandre), with her family by her side. Myrtle left this world to be with her Lord and Saviour on August 20, 2011. Myrtle leaves to cherish her beautiful memory, her children, Dwain (Linda), Barry (Margaret), Evelyn (Albert), Verne (Sheila), Lorraine (John), Bertha (Martin), Ron (Norma) and Katherine (Steve). Myrtle also leaves to mourn her passing, 33 grandchildren, three of whom she raised as her own, Lorinda, Vince and Shane Anderson; 24 great-grandchildren; also god-daughters, Sharon Sumner and Sajata Woodhouse; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends, too numerous to mention. Myrtle is also survived by her sisters, Joyce (John) Martin and Dora (Edward) Sumner; brothers, Sidney Letandre and Gerald Letandre; sisters-in-law, Bertha Sanderson, Ruth Anderson and Lily Anderson. Myrtle was predeceased by her loving husband of 51 years, Edward Anderson on January 18, 2011; grandchildren, Ashton John Sinclair (July 8, 1987) and Tania Lynn Anderson (June 18, 1977); parents, Alexander Thomas (September 7, 1999) and Elsie Letandre (December 23, 1999); father and mother-in-law, Alex Anderson (1983) and Isabella Anderson (1977); siblings, Beverly Anderson, Ruth (Andy) Desjarlais, Marilyn (Louis) Anderson, Ethel (George) Sumner, Leonard Letandre (1963) and Mary Jane Letandre (in infancy); brothers-in-law, Steve (Harriet) Anderson, Dave (Caroline) Anderson, Joseph Anderson and Cubby Anderson; sisters-in-law, Mary (Andrew) Thompson and Christina (Sherman) Sinclair. A wake service will be held on Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 25, 2011 at 12:00 p.m. Both services will be held at the Fairford House of Prayer, with Pastor Wilfred Bruce and Rev.
