Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROMEO DESROCHERS Peacefully, on Sunday, August 21, 2011, Roméo passed away at the age of 87 years. Roméo is lovingly remembered by his children Gérald, Roma (Hervé) Sabourin and Luc, dearly beloved Pepère to Lynne (Javier) Jorge and Lise (Kevin) O'Grady. Grandpepère had a special love for his great-grandchildren Emma, Ben, Megan and Colin. He is also survived by three brothers, two sisters, as well as brother and sisters-in-law, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Ina and son Paul. Dad enjoyed working in the garden, watching the Montreal Canadiens, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, playing a good card game and his visits to Ottawa. A special thank you to the staff of Résidence Despins for their care and compassion. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 26 at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons Street. A private interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6.
