JOYCE G. JOHNS April 30, 1926 August 22, 2011 With the heaviest of hearts we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mom and grandmother, Joyce, while surrounded by those who loved her. Left to cherish her memory are daughter Caroline (LeeRoy), grandson Mark, daughter Diana (John), grandchildren Ryan and Heather, sister Dorothy Boskill, brother Richard (Lena) Roberts and sister-in-law Win Roberts of North Battleford SK, sister Beatrice (Gillbert) Gelinas of Oakbank MB, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family in England. She was predeceased by her parents, George and Rose Roberts, husband Arthur, sister Elise and husband Edward Dolan, sister Emily and husband Vern McConnell, brother Dennis Roberts, brother-in-law Phillip Boskill, nephews Wayne and Ronald Boskill, nieces Corrine Boskill and Lillian Usselman. Mom's priority was her family, and her happiest moments were time spent with her grandchildren, Ryan, Mark and Heather. She was their biggest supporter and tried to attend every event that they were involved in. Her love for them was unconditional and she was so proud of all of their accomplishments, whether it was academic or personal. Her legacy is one of strength, hope and inspiration, and the wonderful memories it created. Mom never left her family without a hug or kiss and I love you, so, this is not good-bye, this is I love you. Our family would like to thank the staff at the Grace Hospital, for the care, compassion, and respect shown to Joyce. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service to celebrate Joyce's life will be held Saturday, August 27, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4000 Portage Avenue.
