ROSALIA (ROSE) STEBELESKI Peacefully on August 24, 2011 Rose fell asleep in death at 80 years of age. Rose was the daughter of Metro and Katherine Bucklaschuk. Rose was predeceased by her loving husband Peter of 44 years. Rose leaves to mourn her passing her sons: Ernie (Matild), Merv (Sharon), grandchildren: Leah, Daniel, Chelsea and Sarah and two great-grandchildren, Ava and Olivia. Rose was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. One of Rose's many talents was her beautiful gifts of crotched and knitted articles that are deeply appreciated. As well, Rose along with her husband Peter, were avid gardeners and she always shared the bounties of the garden with her two sons and families. Mom, Grandma and Great-Grandma will always be held dear in the family's hearts. The family would like to extend thanks to the staff at Poseidon and the 4th floor nursing staff at the Victoria General Hospital, who looked after her in the final days. If friends so desire, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice. The funeral service will be held on Friday August 26 at 2:00 p.m. at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main St. Winnipeg with Fr. Darren Kawiuk officiating. Interment will follow on Saturday, August 27 at 2:00 p.m. in the Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Oakburn, MB. with Fr. Mykhaylo Khomitskyy officiating.
