Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROSARIO LORENZO October 17, 1926 - August 23, 2011 Peacefully, on Tuesday August 23, 2011, with loving family at her side, she passed away at the age of 84 at Seven Oaks Hospital. Rosario leaves to cherish her memory her brother Renato Deleon (Conchita) and sister Corazon Mutuc, children, Eduardo, Napoleon (Lita), Rosauro (Fe), Marissa, Olga and Lydia Capuno (Eugene). Her grandchildren, Melanie Villanueva (James), Alvin Loyola, Roxanne Desepeda (Alex), Elena Avila (Grundig), Christopher Lloyd, John Caster, Genelyn and Geremy. Her husband Bernabe Lorenzo as well as her daughter Maria (lovingly remembered by Abelardo Loyola) predeceased her. She also leaves behind many relatives and friends from Winnipeg, Toronto, United States, and the Philippines. Rosario was born on October 17, 1926 and was raised in Paranaque, Philippines. She immigrated to Canada on April 9, 1981. She was the utmost loving and nurturing person who was always happy, full of life and went out of her way to tend to family and friends in need. She will be missed dearly and will never be forgotten. Viewing and Lamay will be held on Thursday, August 25 and Friday, August 26, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. to midnight at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, August 27, 2011, at 11:30 a.m. with Fr. Joel Naranja officiating at St. Edwards the Confessor Church on 818 Arlington Street. Interment will follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are Rey Tabing, Mars Cabatbat, Manny Licmo, Virgilio Capuno, Boy Salas and Lito Rodillo. The Lorenzo family would like to extend their gratitude and appreciation to the medical and nursing staff on Floor 4, Unit 4 of Seven Oaks Hospital, and Health Sciences Centre for their care and support of Rosario.
