HARLEY RANDALL MATTHEWS Peacefully after a brief fight with cancer, Harley Matthews passed away on August 24, 2011 at the St. Boniface Hospital two days short of his sixty-third birthday. He is survived son Christopher Matthews; granddaughters Taisa and Tabetha Matthews; brothers Howard (Debbie) Matthews of Thunder Bay, Craig (Theresa) Matthews of Barrie, Bruce Matthews of Unionville and William Matthews of Winnipeg, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Wilfred and Nora Matthews. Viewing will be between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 28, 2011 at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook Street. Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday, August 29, 2011 also in Bardal Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Harley's name may be made to CancerCare Manitoba.
