ADELINE KLOCK Mrs. Adeline Klock, aged 74 years, passed away peacefully at TBRHSC on Friday, August 26, 2011. Adeline was born on August 4, 1937 in Dauphin, Manitoba. She spent her youth in the Dauphin area. Very early on, Adeline demonstrated a strong work ethic, and a commitment to family and friends. She married Elmer on July 17, 1958 in Dauphin, Manitoba. Together they embarked on a life together determined to better themselves and provide their family with a good life. Their married life took them to Brandon, Manitoba, then on to Winnipeg, Manitoba and eventually to Thunder Bay, Ontario. Throughout the years, they cherished their friends and family, and were always very understanding to others who faced adversity. Adeline loved her family dearly. Her happiest and favorite times were spent with family and friends. She was also a passionate sports fan, cheering on the grandchildren. Adeline was a kind, generous and honest woman who valued the people she loved. Together Adeline and Elmer enjoyed the winter in Naples, Florida where they kept busy golfing and socializing with old friends from home, and new friends they met down there. Adeline is survived by her daughter Leah, daughter Shannon and son-in-law Darryl Burton, grandchildren Eric, Ryan and Katelyn Burton, sister Sylvia Pawlik, niece Diana Pawlik, nephew David Pawlik (Donna, Simon and Olivia), niece Andrea Hallett (Sean, Liam and Morgan), sister-in-law Evelyn Ryz (Gordon, nephews Chris Ryz (Myrna) and Brent Ryz (Carrie) and niece Lindsey Ryz. She was predeceased by her husband Elmer, daughter Michelle, parent Fred and Anne Chaykowski, in- laws Michael and Mary Klock, sister Button (Orysia) McKechnie, and brother-in-law Roman Pawlik. Funeral services for Adeline will be held on Monday, August 29, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity United Church, 30 Algoma St. S. with Rev. Randy Boyd officiating. Interment to follow at Riverside Cemetery. Adeline and Elmer strongly believed in counting their blessings and in giving back to the community.
