Vicki passed away peacefully at Riverview Health Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba with her husband at her side. Vicki was predeceased by her father-in-law, Delmer Haight, in 2005. She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Vince Haight; parents, Helen and Steve Woloschuk; sisters, Penny Williams (husband, Jody; children, Ashley, Tyler and Samantha), Donna Sedlar (husband, Frank), Sandra Woloschuk (daughter, Natasha); mother-in-law, Elaine Haight; brother-in-law, Hal Haight (wife, Leanne; children, Meghan, Sean and Keiran); brother-in-law, Clint Haight (wife Nancy, children Drew, Wade), sister-in-law, Jane Hansen (husband, John; children, Leah, Heidi and Erik), sister-in-law, Karen Gigliotti (husband, Tim; children, Cole and Luke), best friend Linda Yuen, as well as numerous friends and relatives. Vicki was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, on March 15, 1958. She graduated from Vincent Massey Collegiate. She obtained a Bachelor of Interior Design degree from the University of Manitoba and subsequently completed the National Council for Interior Designers Qualifications examination. Vicki and Vince met during their years at the University of Manitoba and were married on March 22, 1982. Vicki had a rewarding career in the Interior Design field. She worked in variety of capacities in Winnipeg, including private design firms and the Palliser group of companies. After moving to Toronto in 1999, she worked for the Global Group in Training and Marketing. Vicki served on the boards of the professional interior design associations in both Manitoba and Ontario, holding the position of president of the Professional Interior Designers in Manitoba (P.I.D.I.M.) as well as president of the Southern Ontario Chapter of the Association of Registered Interior Designers in Ontario (A,R.I.D.O.). Vicki was an elegant, graceful and dignified woman who will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by those who knew her. She was an avid reader and founded a book club in Winnipeg, which is still active today. She was also a member of a book club in Toronto. Vicki and Vince traveled extensively and loved their cottage in Manitoba, where Vicki chose to spend her last days. Many thanks to the oncology group at the Credit Valley Hospital in Mississauga and the palliative team at the Riverview Health Centre in Winnipeg for their wonderful care, compassion and support. Come and go celebrations of Vicki's life will be held in Winnipeg on Saturday, September 10, 2011, between the hours of 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. at the home of Brad and Dorothy Vannan, 1803 McCreary Road R3P 0S8, and in Toronto on Saturday, October 15t, 2011, between the hours of 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. at the home of Peter Nosalik and Richard Armstrong, 47 Russell Hill Road M4V 2S9.
