MARY SAUNDERS December 25, 1919 - August 27, 2011 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of a wonderful mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. Mary will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her family and friends. Mary was predeceased by her beloved husband, Jack, April 25, 2005. Mary loved visits from family, and cherished spending time with her nieces and nephews. She was a trusted confidante, always ready to listen to our problems and share in our joys. Her family was everything to her, and she was everything to us. Mary was the most giving and caring person, and gave all that she could of herself. She enjoyed spending time with her friends at the seniors block, and enjoyed the times they spent knitting and chatting. She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Greg; daughter-in-law, Karen; grandchild, Kevin, family and friends. She is also survived by brother, George and wife, Phyllis. There will be no funeral service. A family memorial service will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank the compassionate, caring staff at Park Manor Personal Care Home. Donations in lieu of flowers may be sent to the charity of your choice.
