Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCHARLES MOURANT Peacefully, with his loving wife and children by his side, Charles Mourant passed away at Victoria General Hospital on August 26, 2011 at the age of 83. Predeceased by his father Eugene, mother Noella, brother Archie and beloved son Darryl, he leaves to mourn his wife Rose Marie (nee Roque), children Glenn (Joanne) and Charlene (Frank), grandchildren Steph, Pat, Jim, Justin, Cassandra, Kyle and Francesca, and siblings Paul (Betsy), Jules (Lucille), Noel (Isabelle), Lenore (John). Born in Rosewood, Manitoba on June 26, 1928. Married to Rose Marie in 1954, Charles ran the family farm in Dufresne, Manitoba with his brothers Paul and Archie for many years, leaving it to his sons Glenn and Darryl. Service to be held on Wednesday, August 31 at St. Timothy's Parish, 135 John Forsyth Road at 11:00 a.m In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lung Association of Manitoba. Rose Marie, I am so very sorry to hear about Charlie. My mother and I just heard today and am very sorry we missed his service. Hoping you are coping at this hard time. You know I very much liked and enjoyed Charlie and am very saddened to hear this. I will remember him laughing and being a friend as well as a relative to my dad.
