MARILYN MARTENS (nee PATERSON) 1936 -2011 Mom passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on August 31. She was predeceased by her husband (Fred), her mother and father (Esther and William) and her brother (Alex). She is survived by her son (Dale); her daughter (Susan); two grandaughters (Kiana and Kerri); and son-in-law (Rick). Completely devoted to family and close friends, she did all she could to help them out and spend time with them. Cremation has taken place, At Mom's request, there will be no funeral service. Family will inter her ashes at Glen Eden Cemetery. Thanks to the staff on Ward GD-3 at Health Sciences Centre and also the palliative care team. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a charity of your choice. Thanks for everything, Mom! We love you and miss you!
