JENNI ADELE MORRIS Peacefully, and with her loving family by her side, Jenni left this world for a better place in the early morning hours of Thursday, September 1, 2011 at Riverview Health Centre. Left to forever cherish Jenni's memory are her husband David; daughter Dana (Jamie); granddaughter Amelia; son Andrew; sisters, Sonja and Irene (George); niece Amanda (Brad); great-niece Emmary; nephew Adam (Katie); uncle Eddie (Doris), as well as many other nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends. She was predeceased by her mother Karolina in 2007. Jenni was born September 21, 1947 in Denmark and came to Canada at a young age. She lived the rest of her life in Winnipeg, where in 1966; she married David, the love of her life. Together they had two children, Dana and Andrew, whom she loved deeply. In 2001, she became a proud mamma , and has since shared a very special relationship with Amy Kate, a shining light in her life. For 26 years, Jenni worked as a financial administrator at the University of Manitoba's Northern Medical Unit. She enjoyed and took pride in her work, and made many friends there over the years. Jenni spent many happy times with her family at Grand Beach, and more recently at Falcon Lake, creating wonderful memories we will always cherish. On Wednesday, September 7, 2011, Jenni's Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel of Memories in Wojcik's Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main Street @ Manitoba Avenue. The family wishes to thank the staff at Riverview Health Centre 3E, especially Dr. Ted and nurses, Paul and Bonnie, who cared for Jenni with loving compassion in her final days. Special thanks also to Dr. Cooke and nurse Elizabeth at the Health Sciences Centre, as well as to nurse Dileen at Victoria General Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Riverview Health Centre Foundation, One Morley Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3L 2P4. To live in the hearts we leave behind is not to die.
