MARGUERITE MARIE JOURDAIN January 16, 1922 - August 23, 2011 Marguerite passed away in her 89th year at St. Boniface Hospital on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 after a lengthy illness. Marguerite was predeceased by her parents Arthur and Adrienne, sisters Elizabeth Landry, Claire Middlestead and by her brothers, Louis and Jerry. Left to mourn her loss are, her siblings Rosalie Vigfusson and Arthur in Vancouver and Eleanore McGroarty in Winnipeg; nine nieces and nephews and their families as well as many dear friends. Marguerite was employed for 36 years by Weston Bakery in Winnipeg in the Accounting and Payroll Department, retiring in 1986. She enjoyed travelling and was an avid sports fan and supporter of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, Winnipeg Jets and the Toronto Blue Jays. Special thanks to Dr. P. G. Mehta and the staff of 6A at St. Boniface Hospital and to the numerous home healthcare workers who have attended to her needs over the years. In keeping with Marguerite's wishes cremation has taken place and a private interment service was held at St. Vital Cemetery.
