Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARIA DE LURDES ANDRADE 1940 - 2011 It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beautiful, beloved mother Maria De Lurdes Andrade on Monday, September 5, 2011 at the age of 71 years. Maria was born on February 21, 1940 in Vila Franco de Campo, St. Miguel, Acores. Thats where she met and married Vasco Andrade, and they and their family immigrated to Canada in 1973. Remaining to cherish her memory are, her husband Vasco, five children, Vasco (Maria), Carlos, Rui, Peter, and Elizabeth (Tony). Also left to mourn, are her beautiful grandchildren Scott, Matt, Amanda, Steve, Emily, Jesse, Alessia, and Julianna, as well as her sister Fatima Gilberto, Maria Jose (Michael) and Esmeralda, and nieces and nephews. We would like to thank the staff of HSC Emergency as well as MICU for all the years of care with our beloved mother. Her warmth and love will be cherished and with us forever. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, September 8, 2011, at Immaculate Conception Church, 180 Austin Street N., at 9:00 a.m. with interment to follow in Assumption Cemetery.
