Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryADELINE POLOSKI Peacefully at the Selkirk General Hospital, Adeline's battle with cancer came to an end on September 4, 2011. Adeline was born on March 20, 1937 in Netley Creek, MB. At a young age, she moved to Selkirk and married Sidney Gowen, where Adeline gave birth to four children Keith, Charles, Debbie and Monique. Adeline worked at Freshwater Fisheries in Selkirk as a fish cutter. She also worked at Happy Thought School doing general caretaking, followed by duties at the Cinderella Laundry and then was employed at the Daerwood Motor Inn. Adeline later married Fred Poloski and they continued to live in Selkirk until his passing. She leaves to mourn her passing, sons Keith Gowen (Melody) and Charles Gowen (Norma); daughters Debbie Gordon (Pat) and Monique and family; sisters Maggie McKay and Tina Walsh; also many grandchildren and great- grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and enormous amount of friends. Adeline was predeceased by husbands Sidney Gowen and Fred Poloski; parents Alfred and Mary Michaud; brothers Alfred (Poncho), John, Lloyd, and Herbert Michaud; sisters Edith Settee, Bella and Rita Michaud. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 9 at 2:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk with viewing one hour prior to. Interment will follow in the St. Anne's Cemetery, Petersfield, MB. Pallbearers will be Mervin, James and Ernie Michaud, Edward Smith, Anthony Bittern and Pat Gordon.
