Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJENNY (EGGEN) NILSEN On September 4, 2011 at 11:15 a.m., Jenny Nilsen passed away peacefully at the age of 87, at Pembina Place Personal Care Home. Jenny was predeceased by her husband of 67 years. Survived by her children, John (Bev), Rita (Roald), Marit (Wilhelm); grandchildren, Melody (John), Jennifer (Claudio), Svea, Andreas and Christina; great-grandchildren, Meagan, Braeden, Driano and Colby as well as one sister Walborg Guldseth in Selbu, Norway and extended family members in the United States and Norway. Jenny was born on April 5, 1924 in Norway and came to Canada with her husband Trygve and son John in 1952. A memorial service will take place on Friday, September 9, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home at 4000 Portage Ave. The family would like to thank the doctors and medical staff for taking wonderful care of her.
