ANNE DRABCHUK (nee PIDUSTWA) July 16, 1934 - September 6, 2011 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dearly loved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Mom will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Shirley (David) Douglas, Linda (Jake) Unrau and her grandchildren Steven, Jennifer (Jason), Heather (Kyle), Melissa and her great-grandson Relic, as well as her sisters Stella, Jean, Mary (Nick) and Darlene (Wayne), her brother-in-law Pete, sister-in-law Frances and many nieces and nephews. Anne was predeceased by her loving husband of 53 years, Mathew, her parents Pauline and Joseph Pidustwa, and brother Nestor. Mom was a loving and selfless person who always thought of everyone else first. She loved to spend time with her family. Mom also loved to garden and was known for her large gardens that she planted every year. She took great pleasure in providing her family and friends with her abundance of garden vegetables. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at Riverview Hospital, Palliative Care 3-East for their kindness and compassion during this very difficult time. Prayers will be said on Monday, September 12 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, September 13 at 10:00 a.m. also at the Chapel. Interment to follow in Holy Family Cemetery, 4355 Main Street. Donations may be made in Anne's memory to the Riverview Hospital Palliative Care Unit. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
