She will be lovingly remembered by, her sister Reta Mckenzie, brothers Tom (Evelyn), and Ralph (Myrna) Delgaty, sister-in-law Terry Auld, as well as her five daughters: Sharon and Joe Dufault, their children Chris, Paul (Eleanor) and Jeff (Aisha); Judy and John Tozeland, their children Tami (Tom) and Sage; Barb and Wayne Hayward, their children Mike (Amber), Craig (Carla), and Jen (Dave); Marilyn and Carl Zaluski, their children Hollie (Aaron), and Dean (Kim); Jamie and Rick Roels, their children Meghan (Matt) and Lauren as well as 14 great-grandchildren. Mum was born August 18, 1920 in Edam, Saskatchewan, the second of six children. She spent most of her early years living in Gypsumville where she met Dad. They shared 51 years together and raised five daughters. Mum pursued a career as a registered nurse after graduating from the Victoria General Hospital in 1942. She retired after 38 years of nursing with the last 17 years spent working at Deer Lodge Hospital. Mum's many interests included crossword puzzles, the daily Jumble, needlepoint, crocheting, cribbage, bowling, bingo and her weekly bridge game. The Sunday gatherings around the kitchen table with family were the high light of her week. We would like to express our appreciation for the nursing care that Mum received over the past years at West Park Manor. A special thanks to her nurse, Sharon, for her kind and thoughtful support to both Mum and us. A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 12 at 7:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. Chapel Lawn www.chapellawn.mb.ca 885-9715
