JESSIE M. R. CRAIG (nee MCINNES) Peacefully on September 7, 2011, at the Seven Oaks Hospital, Jessie passed away at the age of 89. Jessie was born on January 18, 1922 in Humboldt, SK. Jessie moved to Winnipeg, MB during her childhood years. Jessie worked at the Bond and Ronald Candy Co., Eaton's and finally Jostens photography until retiring in 1987. Jessie enjoyed spending time with her family as well as knitting, lawn bowling and playing Bingo. Jessie's shortbread cookies were always a favourite at Christmas time. Jessie is predeceased by her husband Douglas, sister Mary, and brothers John, Allan and Sam. Jessie is survived by daughter Judy (Wesley), grandchildren Samantha (Kevin), Steven (Leanne), great-grandson Benjamin, special niece Marilyn (Joe), and extended family. Cremation has taken place. A service remembering Jessie's life will be held Monday, September 12 at 2:00 p.m., at Klassen Funeral Home, 1897 Henderson Hwy. Thank you to the nursing staff at the Victoria, Misericordia and Seven Oaks Hospitals for their dedication and care.
