GUS LUM Peacefully in his sleep, on September 8, 2011, Gus Lum passed away at The Parkview Place at the age of 82 years. Gus was predeceased by his wife, Betty; brothers, Alec, William and Walter, and sisters, Cenia Chin and Lily Quon. Dad will be lovingly remembered by his daughter and son, Gina Speer (Clifford), and Jerry; grandson, Christopher; sisters, Elizabeth Keeley of Calgary and Joan Leong (Henry) of St. Louis, Missouri, and numerous nieces and nephews, along with many friends. Dad was a loving father and grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with his family. The family would like to thank the staff at The Parkview Place for the wonderful care that they gave to Dad. Funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, September 15 at the Neil Bardal Funeral Centre, 3030 Notre Dame Ave., across from Brookside Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined.
