MARY (JEAN) MILLER (nee SUTHERLAND) With great sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, auntie and friend on Friday, September 9, 2011 at 87 years old. Mary was predeceased by her husband George (Ernie) and son-in-law Doug. She is survived by her two sons, Ernie (Billie) and Ed (Nancy); four daughters, Marlene, Evelyn (Ken), Joan (Ken) and Marjorie (Rob); stepsons, Alvin (Marlene) and Tubby, 18 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place and there will be a graveside service at Brookside Cemetery, 3001 Notre Dame Ave. at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, September 15, 2011. After the service there will be a gathering for friends and family at ANAVETS, John Osborne, V.C. #1, 300-1395 Ellice Ave. (entrance faces Empress). The family would like to thank the staff at Maples Personal Care Home for their compassion. Honorary pallbearers will be her grand-children.
