MARGARET (MAGGIE) REGENTIK February 29, 1944 - September 9, 2011 Peacefully on Friday, September 9, 2011 at the Health Sciences Centre, Margaret Regentik passed away at the age of 67 years. Besides her best friend Stew Deacon, she leaves to cherish her memory Kevin Deacon, Erin, Cole, Chessa, Daija, Kerry Deacon, Nicki, Zack; the cats, Bear, Rosey, Rainy and many Branch members and friends. Maggie worked for the Royal Insurance Co. for 30 years in Winnipeg before retiring 15 years ago. She was a member of the R.C.L. #2 Branch. She was an avid member and volunteered whenever needed, but the poppy position she held was her pride and joy. She would spend hours to make sure everybody got poppy boxes in our district before November 11. She loved to go golfing and to Lac du Bonnet to the lake and just to get out of the city. She also loved her flowers, vegetable garden and her three cats. A big thank you to the paramedics and doctors for their efforts to help Maggie. Cremation had taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, 1613 Logan Ave. on Thursday, September 15 at 1:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the no kill shelter for animals.
