MARGARET LIEBRECHT (nee ERECHUK) It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our Mom, Margaret Liebrecht on Friday afternoon, August 26 at the Riverview Health Centre in Winnipeg at the age of 82 years. She is lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her daughters, Candis (Dan), Bonnie (Kelly) and her son Collin (Donna); her grandchildren Katherine (Pat and great-grandson Christian), Karen (Ryan and great-grandchildren Mackenzie and Branden) and Kevin; Rebecca (Aaron and great-grandchildren Ashlyn and Arran), Ryan (Sally and great-grandchildren Tyler and Ashton); and Ritchie's son Eric as well as many family members and friends. She was predeceased by our Dad, Martin and our sister, Ritchie. Mom was born in Saskatchewan but was raised in Alberta. She later returned to Yorkton where she met our Dad, married and raised us on our family farm. When our Dad's failing eyesight made it impossible for them to keep the farm they moved to Red Deer, then Edmonton and eventually to Winnipeg. Respecting our Mom's wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal Funeral Service will be held. A private family farewell is planned for a later date. Our family wishes to thank all of our Mom's caregivers and especially the wonderful doctors and nurses at Riverview Health Centre who made her final days as pain free and peaceful as possible.
