JOSEPH (JOE) LEBEDEFF December 24, 1930 - September 13, 2011 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Joseph Lebedeff on Tuesday, September 13, 2011, at Grace Hospital after a battle with cancer. Left to forever cherish Joseph's memory is his loving wife Violet; son Michael; brother Nick (Audrey); sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Lillian and William; as well as nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Anna and Alexander; brother William and sister-in-law Rose. Joseph grew up on a farm in LaBroquerie, MB. After he and Violet married, they moved to Winnipeg. He was a hard worker all his life. After Joseph's retirement from Livingston Distribution Centre, he spent time enjoying his home, yard and gardening. Funeral Liturgy will be Celebrated on Monday, September 19, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. in Blessed John XXIII Roman Catholic Church, 3390 Portage Avenue at Rouge Road, with Rev. Fr. Gerald Langevin presiding. Interment will follow in Assumption Roman Catholic Cemetery, 3990 Portage Avenue. The family would like to thank the nursing and support staff at the Grace Hospital for their care and kindness during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
