DONALD KEITH LINDAL Don Lindal was predeceased by his father Franklin Lindal in 1963 and his mother Laufey (Johnson) in 2001. Don was born in Winnipeg on May 8, 1941 and lived all his life in the West End, on Agnes Street, Ingersoll Street, and in recent years on Arlington Street. He attended Greenway, General Wolfe and Daniel McIntyre schools, and after completing his education worked as a warehouseman at Robinson, Little Co. Don, like all his family, was keenly interested in public affairs and was an enthusiastic sports fan, loyally following the fortunes of all of Winnipeg's teams. He remained so all his life, despite the ravages of Diabetes with which he lived for more than 20 years. He never felt sorry for himself and he is widely remembered in the community for his friendly and positive attitude. Don had no siblings, but he is survived by many cousins who will miss him dearly. We are grateful to Pam, and to the rest of the staff at Arlington Haus who contributed much to his comfort in the last few years of his life. Cremation has taken place, and Don will be buried with his parents at the Lundar Cemetery, on Thursday, September 22 at 11:30 a.m. Pastor Michael Kurtz will conduct the graveside service. • I became a trading partner of Dons from 1999 until 2007. We talked about sports. I never met him, but he was always a good guy to trade with. - Posted by: Ronald Kerzner (Friend ) on: Apr 11, 2021
