Friesen, aged 92 years, of Winkler, MB formerly of Plum Coulee went to his eternal rest. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Helen (nee Hiebert), two daughters, Elaine and Don Sawatsky, Marlene and Ron Kehler, one son, Les and Dianne Friesen as well as grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Viewing will be on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Wiebe Funeral Home, 121 8th St. in Winkler and at the church prior to the service. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Grace Mennonite Church, 1350 Pembina Ave. in Winkler. Interment to follow at the Plum Coulee Cemetery.
