JULIA CRUMB (nee MCWILLIAMS) August 30, 1912 - September 18, 2011 It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of our most beautiful and beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She passed away peacefully in her sleep at the Villa Youville in Ste. Anne, Manitoba. She was born in Scotland and came to Canada with her parents when she was three years old. She was raised on Walker Avenue in Winnipeg and became a teacher who taught in Waterhen and Pinewood schools. She met the love of her life Almanson, while teaching at the Pinewood School. She had two boys Ralph and David. She worked hard all her life and loved taking care of her family. She also helped Ali run the family business, Crumb's Transfer, by doing the accounting up until 1990. She was predeceased by her husband Ali in 1980, also her sisters Kay, Mary, Bella, Agnes, and her brother Andy. Julia will be lovingly remembered by her sons Ralph (Violet), David, her granddaughter Janet (Ron), and her great-grandchildren Jaclyn, Terran, and Trista. Julia is survived by her sister Jean (Eric) of Windsor, Ontario. The family would like to extend our deepest thanks to the staff at Villa Youville, you made her very happy these last couple of months. A memorial service in her honour will be held on Friday, September 23, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Wheeler Funeral Chapel, 211 Regent Ave. West, Interment at Moniminto Cemetery.
