VICTOR BRIKIN It saddens us to announce that Victor Brikin passed away on September 19, 2011 with his loving wife by his side at the age of 65 years. Victor leaves to mourn his wife Ivana, sister Helen (Mike), sister-in-law Elvira (Gerry), nephews Nicholas and Evan, nieces Lana and Hanna, as well as many friends. He was predeceased by his parents Tatiana and Gregory, and brother Alex. Victor worked for 27 years with MPI. He really enjoyed spending time with family and friends at Victoria Beach, gardening, and repairing. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Victor's memory to CancerCare Manitoba and the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Prayers will be said on Thursday, September 22, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at Holy Resurrection Russian Orthodox Church, 732 Alfred Ave. Divine Liturgy will be held on Friday, September 23 a 10:00 a.m. also at the church.
