I am so sorry to hear this. I met him in the early 90's in Flensburg the last time. After the hole trouble with my family in Germany we lost the contact. But last night, I dreamed of his last visit. So i am searching the contact to the "Brodersen"-Family. My grand-parents were Willi and Erika. Perhaps someone will remember me (?). I would be very pleased to here from you. - Posted by: Chris Schulze (Grand-nephew) on: Sep 01, 2015

Dear Derek, dear Carol, I am so sorry about the passing of Henry- we have been friends in Germany at school time. Henry and Hilde visited me and my wife in Schleswig long time ago. Henry was a good friend and I will always remember him . God bless you Heinz Wessin - Posted by: Heinz Wessin, Schleswig, Germany (A friend of your father from Flensburg 19 '30- '50) on: Jun 01, 2013

Dear Carol and Derek, We have only just found out about your Dad's passing, almost a year later! We are so sorry! The last time we saw him was, as usual, over the garden fence telling us about how much he loved his new place! He was a real gentel man!! Dear Carol and Derek, My mom informed me of your father's passing. I just wanted to let you know that I was touched with this news. It is a challenging time in our lives when we are faced with the death of our parents however I think we can all agree that we are truly blessed to have had so much time with them. I remember your parents from church and youth group gatherings. Wow, that takes me back. If you ever come to Quebec City I would be pleased to show you around. I am thinking of you.
