EILEEN KITCHEN Suddenly on September 21, 2011, Eileen Kitchen passed away at her residence at the age of 87 years. Eileen was predeceased by her husband George (Buzz) in 1981 and all of her siblings. She will be sadly missed by her sister-in-law Elsie Merkley of Swan River, MB and close friends Janie and Drew Marshall, Vera Wardell and Jean Tazumi. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. Eileen lived in River Heights for many years and was an active and well-known member of her community. She was always willing to volunteer for a good cause and spent many hours helping others in need. Eileen loved animals and was especially fond of her dog Spooks. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. Eileen was very grateful for the quality of care she received from Dr. Ray Singer and the very considerate staff of Lindenwood Terrace where she lived for the past four years.
