RICHARD PHILLIPS 1922 - 2011 After a brief struggle with cancer dad passed away with dignity at the St. Boniface Hospital on September 21, 2011. Richard is survived by his loving wife Georgina of 67 years and his son Bill and Roxanne. Richard leaves to mourn a sister Doris, brother Emlyn and wife Joyce, and their families in Cardiff, South Wales. We would also like to thank the St. Boniface Hospital nurses for their care and compassion in ensuring our dad had a peaceful journey. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (South of the Royal Canadian Mint). A gathering of family and friends will also be held in the reception centre. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society.
