Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARIE L. MCCARTHY With Liz by her side Marie passed away at Misericordia Place on July 1, 2011. Born in Winnipeg June 11, 1920. Educated at St. Mary's Academy. Employed by the C.P.R. in 1940 and retired in 1980. After retiring, she took up bowling at Rossmere Bowling Alleys for many years. She was an avid reader and a great walker. She is survived by her brother John (Jack) McCarthy and his wife, Margaret of Central Point, Oregon, nephew Stephen and wife Sherry, great-nephew Sean and great-niece Katie. Cremation has taken place. No service by request.

Marie lived at 519 Richmond Street and I had known her since I was 2 years old. When she first came to the apartment my mom Deanna managed the apt. and they were best of friends for years.
