EDWARD GERRIT DE GRAAF 1927- 2011 After a courageous battle with Parkinson's disease Edward de Graaf passed away peacefully at Heritage Lodge Personal Care Home at the age of 84 years. Edward is survived by his wife Helen, daughter Michelle, son-in-law Todd Weimer and grandsons Trevor and Devon. Ed was born in The Netherlands and emigrated to Canada in 1950. He ran the family business, Wilson Industries, until he retired at the age of 65. Ed enjoyed spending time with family and friends at his favourite place, the cottage near Lester Beach. Our family would like to extend sincere thanks to all the staff at the Heritage Lodge for the compassionate care they provided during his last years. A memorial reception will take place on Friday, September 30, 2011 at 2:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg. A private family interment has already taken place.
