JOSEPH PAVCEK After a long and happy life it is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Joseph Pavcek at the age of 84 on September 22, 2011 at Seven Oaks Hospital. Joe was born March 3, 1927 in Yugoslavia (Slovenia); he arrived in Canada at age nine and lived in Kirkland Lake, Ontario. In his early years, Joe moved around Canada before he settled and married in Manitoba where he retired as a baker. Joe loved to be with his family, to travel and the outdoors. Predeceased by his parents: Franc and Ana (Rezel) Pavcek, wife Olga (Hawryluk) Pavcek, son Glenn Pavcek, sister Mary Babich (Pavcek). Joe leaves to mourn his daughter-in-law: Pat Pavcek. Grandchildren: Adam (Leeann), Sheila, Elvis (Arlene), Robyn, and Jayson. Great-grandchildren: Blue, Bailey, Danaya, Ocean and Taven, brother Frank Paveck (Marion Armstrong) of Ottawa (Nepean) ON, sister Anne Mrs. Wm. Thoms (Pavcek) of King City, ON and many nieces, nephews and friends. Donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation or charity of your choice. Thank you for your prayers. Honorary pallbearers will be Frank Paveck and Maurice Lacy. Service will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2:00 p.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home.
