Alex was predeceased by his beloved wife Adriana of 61 years. He leaves to cherish his memory, his sons Alex Jr., and John (Angie) and his granddaughter Amanda. Alex was born in the Netherlands, August 18, 1923. He came to Canada in 1949 with his wife. As per Alexander's wishes a private family interment has taken place.
