ROSIE AGNES MASNYK November 7, 1928 - September 24, 2011 It is with great sadness that we announce that our mother, Rosie Agnes Masnyk, 82, formerly of Winnipeg, MB passed away at the hospital in Canmore, AB on Saturday, September 24, 2011. She was born November 7, 1928 in Lac du Bonnet, MB. She was predeceased by her husband Ross Masnyk on February 12, 2011. Also her parents Martin and Mary Scholz, her sister Helen and her brothers Martin, Gordon and Norman. Rose is survived by her three sons Robert, Gregory (Rose) and Howard (Susan) and her three grandchildren, Matthew, Amanda and Micheal. Also left to remember, her are her sisters Margaret, Mae, Cora (Harold) and Isabelle and many other family members. She loved her family - especially her grandchildren - gardening, watching her flowers grow and attending church on Sundays. Her homemade perogies and cabbage rolls were legendary. The funeral will be held in the morning at 10:00 a.m. at the St. James Lutheran Church, 871 Cavalier Drive, in Winnipeg on Saturday, October 8. Rose and Ross will be interred together in the afternoon at 2:00 p.m. at the Beausejour Cemetery in Beausejour, MB. God could not be everywhere and therefore he made mothers......... we'll miss you Rosie!
