ISABEL REYKDAL (nee BOAL) It is with great sadness that the family of Isabel Reykdal announces her passing on Saturday, October 1, 2011, at Tudor House in Selkirk at age 81. Left to mourn and cherish her memory are her loving husband of almost 62 years, John; her children, Linda (Ron), Richard (Valerie), Donna (Allan), Sandra (Dale); her son-in-law Louie; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and sisters, Evelyn, Winnifred, Ruth and Dorothy. She was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Winnifred Boal; brother Robert; and daughter Cheryl Zaluski. Isabel loved camping, fishing and playing bingo. She also enjoyed their many trips down south. Her family would like to thank the staff at Tudor House for their kindness and care. Also to the doctors and nursing staff of the Johnston Memorial Hospital in Gimli. A Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 4, 2011, 2:00 p.m. at Gilbert Funeral Home, 50 1st Avenue, Gimli, Manitoba. A private family internment has already taken place.
